Press Release Summary: Once applied to your alloy wheels \"Nanokote\" will keep them clean for years preventing brake dust, grease and road grime from sticking to them.
Press Release Body: NEW WORD IS "NANO"
Most car owners love alloy wheels, but give them a name when it comes to keeping them clean - PITB. That stands for Pain In The Bum. But the new best thing on the market to solve this problem has created a new word - Nano.
Nano alloy wheel coating is a spray-on wipe-off application that for thousands of kilometres defies the greasy black coating that forms on alloy wheels. Because they use softer brake pad materials, European cars - the proudest of alloy wheel wearers - really lose their sheen quickly after the best hand wash.
Many claims have been made before this about products to maintain the showroom appearance for alloys, but none like this. Nano technology - known as Nanokote - has been developed over the last 15 years in conjunction with the CSIRO in Australia. The technology deals with molecular particles measured in nanometers, about 1000 times smaller than the eye can see. On alloy wheels Nanokote makes water, mud and oil drops form into beads than run off the coated surface.
It is exceptionally chemically stable and won't attack the surface of alloy wheels, as do a few chemical cleaners, nor does it have any effect on tyres or vehicle paintwork.
You simply spray on Nanokote Alloy Wheels and wipe it carefully over the full surface of the wheel. Leave for five minutes to "set" and then wipe off. The wheels will self-clean for thousands of kilometres; depending on useage and weather conditions, Nanokote could keep protecting for up to two years.
Nanokote is available from "UNIQUE PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS"
